  • 1 lb. Mafaldine noodles (or fettuccini/linguini)
  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 68 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1.5 cups shredded parmesan cheese
  • Blackened seasoning blend (smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, thyme, oregano)

Instructions

  1. Pound chicken to an even thickness and season with olive oil and blackened seasoning.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for about 3–4 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
  3. Remove chicken from the skillet and let it rest.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and remaining blackened seasoning; simmer until thickened.
  6. Cook noodles according to package instructions and reserve pasta water.
  7. Combine cooked noodles with the alfredo sauce and top with sliced chicken.
