  • 4 cups no sugar added apple juice
  • 1/2 cup red hot candies
  • 1 package fruit pectin
  • 4 1/2 cups sugar

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine apple juice, red hot candies, and pectin. Bring to a full boil over high heat while stirring constantly.
  2. Stir in sugar until fully dissolved.
  3. Return to a full boil and cook for 2 minutes while stirring continuously.
  4. Remove from heat and skim off any foam.
  5. Pour the hot mixture into preheated canning jars, leaving a 1/4 inch headspace. Clean the rims of the jars.
  6. Secure lids and rings on each jar.
  7. Process jars in a boiling water bath for 5 minutes.
