  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the brownie layer by melting butter and mixing with sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients and blend with wet mixture before baking for 25–30 minutes.
  3. Prepare the cheesecake layer by beating cream cheese with sugar, eggs, vanilla, and sour cream until smooth. Pour over cooled brownie layer and bake for an additional 30–35 minutes.
  4. Make caramel sauce by melting sugar in a saucepan and stirring in butter and cream until smooth. Add sea salt and remove from heat.
  5. Drizzle caramel over cooled cheesecake and refrigerate for at least two hours before serving.
