  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar + 2 tsp ground cinnamon (swirl)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your Bundt pan thoroughly.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, alternating with sour cream until smooth.
  5. Pour half the batter into the pan, sprinkle with half of the cinnamon sugar mixture, then layer with remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon sugar. Swirl gently.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
