  • 12 oz penne pasta (or your preferred pasta)
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add sirloin strips seasoned with salt and pepper; cook until browned (5–7 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  3. Sauté garlic in the same skillet for about 30 seconds. Return steak to skillet with cooked penne and reserved pasta water; stir well.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Adjust seasoning if needed and serve hot.
