  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), sliced into strips
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 20 oz cheese tortellini (refrigerated or frozen)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup Velveeta, cubed
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan

Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak strips with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper, then sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute. Stir in heavy cream and milk; warm through.
  4. Add cheddar cheese, Velveeta cubes, and Parmesan; stir until melted into a creamy sauce. Mix in garlic powder.
  5. Toss cooked tortellini in the sauce and add seared steak back into the skillet; stir gently to combine.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
