  • 1 package of pre-made pie crust (2 rolls)
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/4 cup diced yellow onion
  • 1/2 medium diced bell pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 cup Mexican blended cheese
  • 1 egg (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned; add onions and bell peppers until softened.
  3. Drain excess fat, then stir in cumin, garlic, salt, pepper, and chili powder. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Roll out pie crusts and cut into circles. Fill each with 2–3 tablespoons of meat mixture and top with cheese.
  5. Fold circles to form half-moons and seal edges with a fork.
  6. Place on a cookie sheet, brush with beaten egg, and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
