  • 1 ½ tablespoons soy sauce
  • ½ tablespoon oyster sauce (recommend to omit to avoid alcohol)
  • ¾ teaspoon cornstarch
  • ¾ teaspoon sesame oil
  • 6 oz fresh or dried noodles
  • 1 ½ tablespoons vegetable oil (divided)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ¾ teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 ½ tablespoons soy sauce
  • ¾ tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • ¾ tablespoon honey or brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons beef broth or water
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1. Marinate the steak in soy sauce for 15-20 minutes.
  2. 2. Cook the noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. 3. In a skillet, heat vegetable oil and cook the steak until browned. Remove from pan.
  4. 4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  5. 5. Stir in remaining sauce ingredients and simmer until thickened.
