  • 1012 baguette slices (about ½” thick)
  • 6 tbsp olive oil, divided
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 avocado
  • Juice of ½ lime
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 big garlic cloves, cut into slivers
  • ¾ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the baguette into 10-12 pieces (½ inch thick) and arrange on the baking sheet.
  3. Mix 3 tablespoons olive oil with garlic powder; brush both sides of each slice and bake for 10-15 minutes until golden.
  4. Halve the avocado, mash in a bowl, add lime juice, salt, and pepper; mix well.
  5. In a skillet, heat remaining olive oil over low heat; add garlic slivers for 2 minutes.
  6. Increase heat to medium-high and add shrimp along with spices; cook until pink (about 3-5 minutes).
  7. Assemble crostini by spreading avocado on each slice and topping with one shrimp.
