  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 cup sifted confectioners’ sugar
  • pinch salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, cream softened butter and dark brown sugar until smooth. Add the egg, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and maple extract; mix until combined.
