  3. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, pumpkin puree, white sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil until just combined.
  4. Gently fold the dry mixture into the wet mixture until combined; lumps are okay.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Fill each muffin cavity about three-quarters full and bake for approximately 16 minutes (or up to 20 minutes) until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow muffins to cool for about 3 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
