  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk (as needed for consistency)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let sit until bubbly. Add melted butter, sugar, salt, and egg; mix well.
  2. Gradually add flour until a dough forms; knead for 5 minutes until smooth.
  3. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise for about 1 hour or until doubled.
  4. For the filling, beat cream cheese with sugar and vanilla; mix in strawberries and jam.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread softened butter over it. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Spread the cheesecake filling on top, roll tightly into a log, and slice into 12 pieces.
  7. Let sliced rolls rise for another 30 minutes on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
